Madara in canon uses he/him, but I use she/her because I see her as a girl. It is personal and not canon, just my preference!

Madara Mikejima (三毛縞 斑) is a character from the mobile game series Ensemble Stars! In the game, she's the only member of the solo unit MaM! Madara is a graduate from Yumenosaki Academy, and is currently affiliated with the idol agency New Dimensions. Before being part of MaM, Madara was the vice-captain of the unit RYUSEITAI!


At some point in the game, Madara was the leader of the unit Double Face, which has since broken up. The only other member was a boy named Kohaku Oukawa. As Double Face, the two worked analogous to vigilantes, seeking to administer justice to the evils in the entertainment industry (and maybe, probably, potentially, leading a guy to be killed. Lol!)


Madara is a cheerful, energetic, and social person, officially titled a "World Player, Always On the Go." She always finds herself making friends wherever she ends up, and that is often around the globe! Madara's most notable quirks are her desire to be called "Mama" (ママ), her love of festivals (earning her the nickname 'Festival Guy' (お祭り男), and her appreciation of various cultures around the world! She has an affinity for humanity, intense loyalty to her friends, and desire to make the world a better place... by any means necessary


Just as much as she is kind, she is practical. The very definition of morally grey, Madara often utilizes underhanded tactics to do what she believes is right. A very "the end justifies the means" type. She despises injustice, and doesn't hesitate to put herself in danger to deal with it. She can also be quite abrasive when around people, being loud, inconsiderate, and constantly teasing others. But trust that she has a good heart, anyways.

  • Madara uses yojijukugo, or "four kanji idioms." She will also make some up, like "Yukai Tsuukai" (愉快痛快)

  • Her first name, Madara, is associated with Pacific cod fish!

  • 三 means three, 毛 means fur, 縞 means stripes. Mikejima means "three colored fur stripes"
